2021 Bass River 1835 Pinot Noir

Fermented with the inclusions of 15% whole bunches and matured for 10 months in 15% new oak. Semi translucent red colour with a light red hue. Fragrant spicy cherry, violet and strawberry scents marry into dried herb and faintly toasted cedar notes. Light in body with savoury red cherry and strawberry fruits reigning over a delicate fresh herb, forest floor and subtle spicy cedar back drop. Polished tannins with fresh acidity leading into a lively red fruited finish.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
