2021 Bindi Original Vineyard Pinot Noir

Notes from the producer....
The 2021 Original Vineyard spent 16 months in barrel and was bottled in late July. This wine comes from our 1988 planting. The 2021 is one of the very best wines from this vineyard. It is simultaneously deep and ethereal. There are mostly red fruits with a hint of darker berries. It is earthy, fresh and very finely layered. It is powerful for an Original Vineyard. The palate is fine, supple and full then tightens, fills the palate for a structured, fine and firm tannin finish. It should begin to drink near its best in another six years time and will drink well for 15 years after that. These wines have proved over three decades their ability to age and the 2021 has a long future ahead.
