2021 Bouchard Pere & Fils Bourgogne Chardonnay

Founded in 1731, Bouchard Père et Fils has built up an estate of 130ha and, collectively, is the largest owner of Grand Crus (12ha) and Premier Crus (74ha) across the Côte d’Or.
Bright straw colour with a watery hue. Filing the nostrils are pronounced scents of peach, dried honey and crème brulee with hints of bacon fat, cashew and citrusy nougat characteristics also evident. Rich with a broad feel across the palate, fleshy peach, dried honey, ripe pear and crème brulee flavours overlay traces of bacon fat, roasted almond and spice. River stone like texture finishing fresh and refined with ample length.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
