2021 Buckshot Vineyard Heathcote Primitivo

Juicy, mid weighted Primitivo concluding long and luscious with plenty of energy.

Matured in a combination of new and seasoned French and American oak hogsheads. Deep black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Intense aniseed, black plum and black cherry scents have a vanillin oak and spearmint overlay. Medium bodied with a juicy feel, aniseed and fleshy plum flavours infused with spearmint flood the mouth. Spicy vanillin oak and pepper lie underneath. Sturdy yet polished tannin structure concluding long and luscious with vivid acidity lending energy.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
