2021 Chateau Juvenal Les Ribes du Vallat Ventoux

A rich, exuberant explosion of flavour.

A blend of 70% Grenache and 30% Syrah from vines aged between 10 to 50 years. Deep dark red core with black shaded edges and a red purple tinged hue. Alluring scents of dark raspberry, liquorice and dark cherry intoxicate the olfactory senses with some herbs du Provence, scorched earth and pepper notes also evident. Rich juicy dark to black raspberry, liquorice and ripe dark cherry fruits explode across the sumptuous palate with notions of scorched earth, provincial herbs and spicy pepper lying underneath. Opulent yet fresh it’s bursting with power and possesses ripe, slightly chewy tannins. Concludes long, succulent and spicy.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
