2021 Cloudy Bay Pinot Noir

Excellent depth of colour featuring a deep dark red black core and a dark red hue. Streaming out of the glass are fragrant scents of dark to black cherries, strawberries and dried herbs followed by some stalky cedar, forest floor and subtle spicy anise notes. Rich fleshy dark cherry and strawberry fruits carry good weight over an anise, dried herb, forest floor and spicy cedar back drop. Fine grained tannins have a sturdy underbelly. Finishes long, ripe and savoury.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
