2021 Dalrymple Estate Vineyard Single Site Pipers River Chardonnay

Matured in a mix of new and older French oak puncheons and a 700 litre ceramic egg for a period of 10 months. Brilliant pale straw colour with distinct highlights of green around the edges and a watery hue. Refined white peach, pear and dried honey aromas are complimented by hints of cashew, biscuity nougat and spice. Rich yet highly finessed the palate features white peach, nectarine, dried honey and subtle cashew flavours with lemony acidity lending freshness. Delicate biscuity nougat and spice elements are also evident. Concludes long and elegantly detailed.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
