2021 Domaine Barmes-Buecher Sand Pinot Blanc
Bright straw colour with a watery hue. Pronounced yellow pear, ripe apple and quince notes mix with honeysuckle, Turkish delight and spice notes. Racy pear, lemon and green apple flavours are underscored by tangy citrus like acidity with some honeysuckle and wet slate characters also chiming in. Finishes very dry, taut and zippy.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.

Other Reviews…..
This is incredibly pure and straight with a stunning Amalfi lemon freshness that’s wrapped with a delicate creaminess. Ripe yet so sleek and precise. Very long, wet stone finish. 100% pinot blanc from sandy, granitic soil at around 350 meters above sea level. Matured in old barrels and stainless steel on the full lees. Limited production.
