2021 Dromana Estate Tuerong Park Pinot Noir

Established in 1982, Dromana Estate was one of the early pioneers to recognise the potential of the Mornington Peninsula. Their Tuerong Park label are single vineyard wines produced from selected parcels of fruit and offer great bang for your buck.

Beautifully layered, long and expansive this is one very moreish Mornington Peninsula Pinot Noir.

The almost perfect growing and ripening conditions of the 2021 vintage have delivered a superb rendition of Mornington Peninsula Pinot Noir. Maturation took place in French oak puncheons and foudre for a period of 8 months.
Semi translucent dark red colour with black tinged edges and a light red hue. Delightful aromatics of dark cherry, strawberry and rhubarb blossom from the glass showing plenty of intensity. Hints of violets, anise, spicy dried herbs and forest floor then ensue. Waves of delicious spicy dark cherry, strawberry and rhubarb flavours fan out across the palate like a peacocks tail. Supple in its feel it shows terrific richness and power with elements of dried herb, forest floor and light cedar adding further intrigue on the back half. Silky smooth tannins concluding long, savoury and expansive.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
