2021 Escarpment NOIR Pinot Noir

Deep dark red core with black shaded edges and a dark red hue. Blossoming out of the glass are scents of dark to black cherries, violets and anise which intermingle with forest floor, fresh herb and spices. Spicy dark cherry, strawberry and anise flavours are scattered across the palate with toasty oak, earth and dried herb characters lying underneath. Dryish, slightly chalky tannins finishing fresh and a touch lean with a taut mid length aftertaste.
