2021 Famille Perrin Cotes du Rhone Reserve

From estate that owns the world renown Chateau de Beaucastel this a blend of 40% Grenache, 40% Mourvedre and 20% Syrah matured in a mix of oak barrels and stainless steel vats for a period of 12 months.
Deep black dark red colour with a purple tinged dark red hue. Pronounced dark raspberry, liquorice and ripe blueberry aromas fill the nostrils mixing with provincial herb, subtle scorched earth and pepper notes. Juicy dark raspberry, liquorice and dark cherry fruits show impressive richness, weight and concentration. Ripe fleshy feel with notions of blueberry, provincial herbs and peppered earth elements in the background. Slightly chewy tannins with a long succulent dark fruited finish.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
