2021 Georges Duboeuf Beaujolais Villages

Beaujolais-Villages takes its name from a certain number of wine-making villages in the Beaujolais production area - 38 to be precise - that have long stood out for the superior quality of their wines.

Deep dark red colour with black tinged edges and a dark red hue. Fragrant crushed rose petal and red to dark cherry scents intermingle with dried clove, incense and dusty earth notes. Light in body flavours or red cherries, incense infusions, earth and spicy clove carry a fresh feel. Slightly dryish tannins with vibrant acidity finishing bright and elegant.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
