A light, elegant yet texturally pleasing dry white that has a bone dry finish.

Brilliant water like core with a subtle greenish tinge around the outskirts. Lifted pear and apple skin aromas mix with spicy quince, hints of gun flint and stony mineral notes. Light and elegant yet texturally pleasing with a river stone like feel, flavours of pear skin, spicy quince and lime overlay a wet slate and smoky mineral back drop. Brisk acidity finishing bone dry with a long mineral drenched aftertaste that has a savoury edge to it.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
Alc. 12.5%

Other Reviews….
Fermentation in old French oak barrels, maturation in stainless steel tank. All the other whites, aside the Chardonnay, don’t get to see any oak.
White peach, stony, fennel, a little spice, coconut milk. Fine, tight, fine chalk dust/crushed rock texture, subdued and closed in to an extent, cinnamon and stonefruit, with a long cool finish. Needs a bit of air or another year in bottle. Excellent. Drink 2023-2028.
