2021 Grampians Estate Rutherford Sparkling Shiraz

A well fluffed purple tinged mousse slowly subsides into a black dark red core that has a very fine stream of tiny bubbles coursing through it. Heady aromas of blackberry, dark plum, liquorice and dark chocolate exude from the glass followed by some vanillin oak, earth and spice notes. Rich dark plum, liquorice and dark chocolate flavours coat the mouth filling palate with spicy vanillin oak and earth elements lying underneath. Creamy textured it finishes dry with a long opulent yet fresh finish.
Drink over the next 6-8 years.
