2021 Henri Boillot Meursault
Other Reviews....
This is actually quite aromatically similar to the Bourgogne save for displaying notably more floral elements. The caressing but decidedly punchy medium weight flavors also display fine delineation that carries over to the youthfully austere, lemony and sneaky long finale. This could use better depth but more should reasonably develop if given a chance and my rating assumes that it will. Drink through 2027+.

Allen Meadows - Burghound
Taut and incisive, the 2021 Meursault Village offers up aromas of pear, orange oil, white flowers and toasted nuts, followed by a medium-bodied palate built around tangy acids, and concluding with a saline finish.

The 2021 Meursault, a blend of five parcels across the village, offers good tension and energy, naturally in the smaller-scaled style of the year. Lemon peel, white flowers, mint and white pepper all grace this attractive village-level bottling from Henri Boillot. Drink 2023-2029.

Neal Martin - Vinous
Mostly from their own vines and includes some Goutte d’Or this year. Pale to mid lemon yellow. A certain weight on the nose, more than elegance. More classic on the palate with a depth of pear and ripe apple fruit, medium plus length and a good structure for the future. Drink from 2025-2028.
