Dash Farms with cabernet that darts around a bit. Or next to Dot Farms. Oh my.
Regal cabernet of flesh and tension, taut ripples of silty tannin holding in a deep bruise of mixed black and blueberry fruit character, faint vanilla and cinnamon spice, a mellow choc-liqourice character and lavender water and finishes cool with amaro-like licks. It’s fragrant too, dark fruited, spicy, alpine herb lifted and generally very, very appealing to sniff on. Lots of detail. This one has guts but control, a serious, modern-feeling, sweeter-hearted cab sav. Lovely stuff. Drink 2022 - 2035+
