2021 Leconfield Coonawarra Old Vines Riesling

Fruit was sourced from a vineyard planted in 1974. Brilliant water like core with a greenish tinged outskirts. Lifted lemon and lime aromas are trailed by hints of toast, bees wax and steely kerosene like notes. Zesty lemon, lime and orange rind flavours are underscored by racy acidity which imparts a taut steely feel across the palate. Subtle toasty kerosene and mineral elements are also present. Finishes dry and tightly focused with a long precise aftertaste.
Drink over the next 6-8 years.
