2021 Lenton Brae Cabernet Sauvignon

A blend of 98% Cabernet Sauvignon and 2% Malbec matured in a combination of new and used French oak barriques for 15 months.
Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Lifted red to black currant and mulberry aromas are intermeshed with black olive, spicy cedar, tobacco and bay leaf notes. Medium bodied the palate features a mix of ripe red currant and mulberry fruits over cedary tobacco characters, dusty earth and spicy bay leaf. Fine yet nicely structured tannins with a refined mid length conclusion.
Drink over the next 6-8 years.
