2021 Mendel Wines Lunta Malbec

Matured for 6 months in used French oak. Dense inky black heart with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Pronounced ripe blueberry, liquorice and dark cherry aromas infused with dried herbs drift out of the glass followed by some light earth and spice notes. Rich juicy ripe blueberry and dark cherry fruits meld into dried herb, liquorice and spicy vanilla elements. Fine grained tannins with a lick of youthful freshness to the spicy and succulently fruited long finish. An easy drinking fruit driven Malbec that offers good value.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
