2021 Montalto Pennon Hill Chardonnay

Aged for 9 months in French oak barriques and puncheons of which 24% were new. Brilliant pale straw colour with a watery hue. Drifting from the glass with ample intensity are white peach, nectarine and dried honey scents which are complimented by biscuity oak, nougat and subtle spicy cashew notes. Showing nice flesh are white peach, nectarine and dried honey flavours with cashew, light crème brulee and spicy nougat characters contributing to a long cream tinged finish.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
