2021 Mount Langi Ghiran Talus Shiraz
Impenetrable midnight black heart with a dark red black tinged hue. Fragrant blackberry, liquorice and red plum scents are interwoven with a hint of violet, spicy vanillin cedar and peppered earth notes. Fleshy blackberry, liquorice and red plum fruits carry a refined textural feel across the medium bodied palate. Spicy vanillin cedar, delicate earth and peppered meat accents ensue. Very fine grained, perfectly integrated tannins meld into the long savoury finish which carries a sense of eloquence.
Drink over the next 6-8 years.
Alc. 14%
Other Reviews…..
There's a power to this wine, a force, and yet it also comes across as a wine with a keen savoury side. Win-win. Black cherry, hazelnut, black pepper and rounds of leaf matter and tobacco put on a confident and highly engaging display. Indeed, it's beautiful. Drink by 2035.

The colour is brilliant and bright with deep crimson hues. The nose offers a lovely combination of cherry and chocolatey dark plums, it’s engaging from the outset. The medium bodied palate is neatly structured with satsuma plum, a little licorice and dark chocolate richness. Seamless oak integration with fine chalky tannins sustains a long finish. Drink 2024-2039.
