2021 Nicks Secret SF Barossa Shiraz

With a Barossa heritage going back six generations this renown family owned Estate knows a thing or two about producing top notch Shiraz. Matured in American oak hogsheads (40% new) for a period of 14 months, the superb 2021 vintage produced Shiraz with intense flavours and colours together with great power.

Rich, plush, voluptuously textured Barossa Shiraz.

Dense inky black heart with a very deep dark red black hue. Wafting out of the glass are ripe blackberry, liquorice and dark chocolate aromas which are interwoven with vanillin oak, earthy mocha and subtle spice notes. Rich and plush, the voluptuously textured palate is saturated with dark plum, liquorice and dark chocolate flavours. Complementing the lavish fruit are vanillin oak, mocha and spicy earth elements. Excellent power with a velvety yet underlyingly sturdy tannin structure. Concludes long and seductive. A great follow up to last year’s top selling Nicks Secret wine.
