2021 Pascal et Nicolas Reverdy Terre de Maimbray Sancerre

Pascal Reverdy’s domaine is based in the tiny hamlet of Maimbray. Maimbray is located in a valley surrounded by chalk hills adjacent to Chavignol and Verdigny. From their small cellar they produce one of France’s most highly awarded Sancerres’.
Brilliant water like colour with a distinct glimmer of green around the outskirts. Herbaceous grassy top notes mix with gooseberry, lime, asparagus and wet stone notes. Crunchy green apple and lime flavours infused with grassy asparagus like characters overlay a back drop of herbaceous gooseberries and subtle stony mineral accents. Finishes dry with crisp acidity and a brisk yet lingering aftertaste.
