2021 Patrick Piuze La Grande Vallee Chablis

Bright yellow straw colour with a watery hue. Lifted pear and citrus aromas rise through the olfactory senses complimented by hints of dried honey, almond, wet slate and oyster shell. On the palate racy pear and lime fruits are underpinned by notions of almond, wet slate and flinty mineral characteristics. Zippy acidity counterpoints an otherwise river stone like feel. Finishes dry and slatey with some lingering salinity.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
