2021 Principe Corsini Le Corti Chianti Classico

The family behind Villa Le Corti, the Corsini Family, has an amazing history as winemakers that dates back to the 13th century making it one of the oldest Estates in Tuscany. Current custodian of the Corsini Empire is 22nd generation Duccio Corsini.
Totally opaque dark red black in colour with a dark red hue. Spicy red to dark cherry aromas intermingle with some fresh herb, earth and balsamic notes. Medium bodied and nicely fleshed the palate is amply endowed with red currant fruit which overlays a fresh herb infused back drop of earth and subtle tobacco. Bright acidity along with fine grained tannins lead into a lively and spicy red fruited finish.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.

A very fine Chianti Classico with black berries, black licorice, and stone with some lavender. Medium-bodied, lovely tannins. From organically grown grapes. Vegan. Lovely now but even better in two or three years.
