2021 Prisoner Wine Co. Unshackled Chardonnay

A blend of 94% Chardonnay, 5% Albarino and 1% Malvasia fermented in a mix of barrel and stainless steel tanks then aged in oak for 6-7 months. Bright straw colour with a watery hue. Pronounced ripe peach and apricot scents are trailed by some honeycomb, crème brulee and butterscotch notes. Rich creamy textured ripe peach and apricot flavours overlay a bacon fat, honeycomb, crème brulee and spice back drop. Ample underlying freshness finishing long, ripe and full.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
