2021 Quartz Reef Bendigo Estate Single Vineyard Pinot Gris

Fruit was sourced from a certified organic vineyard planted in 1998 and the wine was aged on yeast lees for 6 months to enhance texture and complexity. Bright pale straw colour with a watery hue. Exotic pear, lychee and rosewater like aromas waft out of the glass followed by hints of honeysuckle and ginger spice. Luscious ripe pear, Jonathan apple and musk flavours flood the mouth with notions of honeysuckle and delicate ginger also evident. Texturally full and round it finishes dry and fresh with a long delicious aftertaste.
