2021 Rutini Wines Trumpeter Malbec

Rutini was the first winery to plant vines in Mendoza’s Uco Valley which today is regarded as one of Argentina’s top wine producing regions. Their entry level Trumpeter Malbec delivers fantastic bang for your buck.
Midnight black in colour with a dark red black tinged hue. Emanating out of the glass are pronounced aromas of ripe blueberry, blackcurrant and liquorice which are trailed by some vanillin cedar, fresh herb and spicy earth notes. Delicious ripe blueberry, dark cherry and red liquorice fruits carry a silken feel across the juicy mid weighted palate. Subtle vanillin cedar, earth and spicy fresh herb infusions lie underneath. Finishes with good freshness, velvet smooth tannins and a long, amply powered aftertaste.
