2021 Shadowfax Geelong Pinot Noir

Matured in 20% new French oak hogsheads for a period of 9 months. Semi translucent dark red colour with a light brick red hue. Aromas of dark cherries, rhubarb, dried herbs and brambly cedar show good intensity out of the glass followed by some forest floor and stalk like notes. Rich expansive dark cherry and strawberry fruits sit over a subtle rhurbarb, spicy dried herb, brambly cedar, forest floor and gentle stalk background. Powerful with a supple, meaty like feel it has silken tannins and concludes long and savoury.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
