2021 Skye Ridge Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon

A medium bodied, refined Cabernet that’s generously layered with ripe fruit.

Matured for 20 months in French oak barriques of which 27% were new. Dense inky black heart with a deep dark red black tinged hue. The nose leads with pronounced ripe blackcurrant aromas followed by some mulberry, vanillin cedar, earthy tobacco and spicy bay leaf notes. The medium bodied palate is generously layered with ripe blackcurrant, liquorice and mulberry fruits. Vanillin cedar, earthy tobacco and infusions of bay leaf lie beneath. Fine grained yet sturdy tannin structure with a refined conclusion that’s medium to long.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
