2021 South by South West Super Margs

Taking its inspiration from the Super Tuscan blends of Italy this is comprised of Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Malbec and Merlot matured for 10 months in a combination of 1 year old Hungarian and older French oak barrels. Totally opaque dark red colour with black shaded edges and a bright red hue. Red cherry and red currant aromas are followed by dried herb, earth and subtle spicy tobacco notes. Medium bodied, savoury red cherry and red currant fruits are underscored by bright acidity with dried herb, subtle earthy tobacco characters and spicy cedar lingering on the back half. Fine, slightly grainy tannins with a medium length conclusion.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
