Brilliant pale straw colour with a distinctive greenish tint to the edges and a watery hue. Filling the nostrils are intense aromas of white peach, nectarine, dried honey and biscuity oak followed by some citrusy nougat and gun flint notes. Rich, powerful and possessing a cream tinged texture yet at the same time gorgeously refined the palate is decorated with moreish fleshy white peach and nectarine fruits. Infusions of gun flint, dried honey, biscuity oak and light spicy nougat elements lend complexity. Finishes with good freshness and a long pleasing aftertaste.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
Alc. 13.5%

Other Reviews…..
The Reserve is always a blend of the best vineyards. It's not necessarily better than the single-site wines – although it can be – it’s a different expression. In this excellent vintage, it’s complex and pure. Certainly a core of citrus and stone fruit, but the layering effect from oak, lees and a touch of flint give this a distinct savoury outlook. It is a great shame the '21 wines are winemakers Michael Symons and Will Byron’s last, although they can leave on a high. Both calling it quits, with Accolade wanting to take this boutique Mornington Peninsula producer in a broader, perhaps more dilute direction. Drink by 2031.
