2021 Tar & Roses Mornington Peninsula Chardonnay

Matured on lees in French oak hogsheads (12% new) for a period of 12 months. Brilliant pale straw to straw colour with greenish tinged edges and a watery hue. Intense peach, apricot and honeycomb aromas are complimented by biscuity oak, hints of cashew and vanillin spice. Creamy textured, the mid weighted palate features ripe peach, pear and subtle honeycomb flavours over a crème brulee, cashew and spicy nougat back drop. Concludes with good length and a well rounded feel.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
