2021 Tarrawarra Estate Chardonnay

From what was a textbook vintage in the Yarra Valley fruit for the Estate wine was sourced across seven sites from 18–35 year old vines. Maturation took place in French oak of which 10% was new.
Brilliant pale straw colour with highlights of green around the outskirts and a watery hue. Drifting through the nostrils are aromas of white peach and dried honey which are interwoven with cashew, biscuity nougat and spice notes. Mid weighted the palate has a lovely creamy feel featuring white peach, pear and dried honey flavours over a cashew, biscuity nougat and spice back drop. Nicely balanced it finishes long, well rounded and refined.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
