2021 TarraWarra Estate Pinot Noir
Semi translucent dark red core with black shaded edges and a light brick red hue. Spicy dark cherry, strawberry and rhubarb aromas rise out of the glass trailed by dried herbs, forest floor and brambly cedar. Supplely textured across the light weight palate, flavours of spicy cherry and rhubarb are featured over dried herbs, brambly cedar and forest floor elements. Polished tannins concluding savoury and spicy.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
Alc. 13.4%
Other Reviews….
A medium cherry brick. Already showing a little, and it should be said, attractive, forest floor note, this is packed with flavour, robust and quite firmly structured. It should only continue to become more complex and softer over the next four to six years. Drink by 2028.
