2021 The Black Chook Shiraz

Dense inky black colour with a deep dark red black hue. Wafting from the glass are heady ripe blackberry and liquorice aromas which intermix with hints of dark chocolate, vanillin cedar and peppered earth. Medium to full in body the palate is awash with rich blackberry and liquorice fruits which sit atop a vanillin cedar, earthy dark chocolate and pepper back drop. Plush yet sturdily built with a slightly chewy tannin structure, it finishes a touch inky but generously fruited and ripe.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
