2021 Ventisquero Queulat Gran Reserva Carmenere

Aged for 12 months in oak barrels. Midnight black dark red colour with a bright dark red hue. Nosing offers up red to black currant aromas infused with tobacco leaf followed by some spicy cedar and capsicum notes. Generous blackcurrant fruits merge with tobacco, earth, spicy cedar and capsicum elements on the back half. Sturdy tannins lend some subtle grip to the elegant medium length finish that’s led by spicy tobacco and delicate capsicum infusions.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
