2021 Wantirna Estate Isabella Chardonnay
Other Reviews....
There’s a new dog at Wantirna Estate. George, the black Labrador, who’s one of the cutest dogs I’ve seen in a long while.
Stone fruit, spicy pie crust, a subtle fennel and white flower perfume. Plenty of flavour, pie apple with a smattering of citrus and preserved lemon, a gentle chalkiness but quite smooth in delivery, juicy acidity, some savoury oatmeal stuff and lemon zest on a long finish. Flavour and finesse. Excellent Chardonnay. Drink 2022 - 2029.

A complex wine with hints of jasmine, aromas of fresh apricots, a touch of orange blossom and some almond meal. Textured and structured, there's an old-vine creaminess to this classic 'old world' styled and totally lovely wine that, despite its richness, finishes fine and very long. Drink 2022 - 2028.
