2021 West Cape Howe Cabernet Merlot

A blend of 90% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Merlot all sourced from West Cape Howe’s Mt Barker vineyards. Midnight black dark red colour with a dark red black tinged hue. Blackcurrant and black olive aromas mix with mulberry, dusty cedar, tobacco and subtle capsicum notes. Medium bodied, rich blackcurrant and ripe mulberry fruits carry a fleshy feel across the palate underscored by dusty cedar, tobacco and spicy black olive characters. Sturdy, slightly firmish tannin structure with a touch of capsicum emerging on the drying mid length finish.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
