The 2021 Aulerde Riesling GG offers a deep, spicy, refined and very elegant bouquet with ripe fruit and finely flinty as well as phenolic nuances. Lush and savory on the palate, this is a very elegant and harmonious Aulerde with fine acidity and stimulating salinity and lots of refreshing grip on the pure and crisp finish. This is a classic in the making that needs another three to five years in the bottle, but it can also be enjoyed today. 12.5% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted at the domaine in August 2022. Drink 2025 - 2040.

The 2021 vintage has given the bold and generous character of this site a cool herbal element. Next to the ripe mirabelle and melon fruit are notes of licorice and sandalwood. The grapefruit acidity lifts the rather full body very nicely. Quite a firm finish with plenty of fine tannins. From biodynamically grown grapes with Respekt certification. Vegan. Drink or hold.
