2021 Yabby Lake Single Vineyard Chardonnay

Brilliant very pale straw colour with flashes of green around the edges and a watery hue. Understated in its intensity, the nose offers up inviting scents of white peach, nectarine and dried honey which meld into biscuity oak, citrusy nougat and gun flint. Wonderfully fresh and refined the palate sports a concentrated flavour profile of white peach, pear and citrus fruits which are gently fleshy in their feel. Notions of subtle dried honey, biscuity oak, light spicy nougat and infusions of gun flint lie underneath. Concludes with a long, elegant yet intensely flavoured aftertaste.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
