2021 Yalumba Samuel’s Collection Eden Valley Viognier

Yalumba has pioneered the growing and making of Viognier in Australia since planting their first vineyard high in the Eden Valley in 1980. The grapes for this wine were sourced from seven separate blocks across five different vineyards.
Brilliant pale straw colour with a glimmering green tinged outskirts and watery hue. Exotic apricot, peach and honeysuckle aromas show good lift and are followed by distinct ginger spice notes. Rich, lusciously textured apricot, peach and honeysuckle flavours overlay ginger and spice characters. Finishes with good freshness and a long slippery textured aftertaste.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
