2022 Allegrini Corte Giara Soave

The Corte Giara range is an offspring of the famous Allegrini family in the Valpolicella region. Together with a few select winegrowers, they created a concept centred around modern and eclectic wines, representing great value for money, with international varietals through to Amarone, Recioto and other classic wines of the Veneto region.
A blend of 80% Garganega and 20% Chardonnay. Brilliant pale straw colour with greenish tinged edges and a watery hue. Aromas of lime zest and pear mix with hints of green apple skin, fresh herbs and flinty mineral notes. Nicely shaped across the palate with pear and red apple skin flavours featured over lime, quince and spice. Crisp acidity with a dry, wet slate laced finish.
