2022 Balgownie Estate Yarra Valley Pinot Noir

Aged in French oak barriques and puncheons for 9 months. Deep dark red colour with black toned edges and a red to dark red hue. Very perfumed nose with elevated violet scents leading the way followed by some red cherry, winter strawberry, clove, forest floor and subtle spicy cedar notes. Light in body cherry and winter strawberry fruits are featured over forest floor, dried herb and spicy cedar characters. Bright acidity and polished tannins with a vibrant red fruited finish.
Drink over the next 6-8 years.
