2022 Chateau Ste Anne Bandol Rose

Translucent salmon blood orange like colour. Elevated scents of blood orange, wild cherry and citrus aromas intermingle with hints of guava, mandarin and stony mineral notes. Beautifully fleshed in its texture and intensely flavoured, the palate is decorated with blood orange, mandarin and citrus fruits with stony mineral characteristics lingering through the back half. Finishes dry and tangy with refreshing acidity and a long supple, wet stone laced aftertaste.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.

High toned with a pleasing volatile tweak, strawberry, spice and toffee apple, aniseed, seaweed and stones. It’s medium-bodied, fleshy and well-appointed, stony texture with strawberry and peach flavour, also quite umami, a cinch of orange peel bitterness, and a dry and chalky finish of excellent length. Wild, but so distinctive and engaging. Drink 2023-2025+
