2022 Coriole Nero
Deep dark red black core with a dark red hue. A mix of morello and red cherry aromas greets the nostrils followed by hints of liquorice, incense, fresh herbs and spicy earth. Juicy dark and morello cherry flavours flood the mouth underscored by infusions of earthy incense characters, fresh herbs and spice. Polished tannins with lively acidity lending freshness to the generously fruited yet savoury conclusion.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.

Other Reviews….
Very good drinking for the contemporary Australian table. Reflective of a zeitgeist equating to pulpier textures, vibrancy and greater transparency. Aromas of baked black fruits, an amaro element, a sachet of thyme, mint, sage, rosemary and lavender. It's all corralled by a curb of gentle yet palpable tannins parlaying a savouriness over obvious sweet fruit. Best enjoyed with a moderate chill. Drink by 2026.
