2022 Corryton Burge Barossa Grenache

Fifty percent of the wine was matured in 2500 litre French oak foudres with the rest spending 8-9 months in barrels of various ages. Vibrant dark red core with black toned edges and a bright red hue. Dark raspberry, liquorice and dark cherry aromas stream from the glass followed by subtle vanillin spice and peppered herb notes. Succulent dark raspberry, cherry and liquorice fruits flow across the moreish palate with notions of vanillin spice, earth and peppered dried herbs lying underneath. Velvety tannins combine with good freshness on the long juicy finish.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
