2022 Curator Wine Co. Shiraz

Matured in French oak of which 15% was new with 10% whole bunch inclusion. Dense inky black heart with a very deep dark red black hue. Wafting from the glass are ripe dark plum, blackberry and liquorice scents followed by vanillin cedar, a faint whiff of mocha and spice. Lavish blackberry, dark plum and liquorice fruits make a rich, plush entrance onto the palate with subtlety toasted vanillin cedar, earthy mocha and pepper characters lying underneath. Velvety yet sturdy tannin structure finishing with a lick of fresh acidity on the long succulent blackpepper laced aftertaste.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
