2022 Dandelion Vineyards Menagerie of The Barossa Grenache Shiraz Mataro
Deep dark red black tinged colour with a dark red hue. Elevated dark raspberry, ripe cherry and liquorice aromas mix with dried herb, fennel and peppered earth notes. Rich succulent dark raspberry, cherry and liquorice fruits make a plush entrance onto the medium to full bodied palate. Notions of dried herbs, subtle blueberry, scorched earth and peppered fennel characters ensue. Polished tannins finishing with a lick of freshness on the long juicy conclusion.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.

Other Reviews…..
A delicious blend of 73% grenache, 19% shiraz and 8% mataro, some whole-bunch action, matured for 12 months in seasoned French oak. Ripe plums, blue and mulberry fruits with hints of exotic spice, ginger cake, black tea, cola, sarsaparilla, stemmy spice and amaro tones, roasting meats and earth. Chocolate-dipped raspberries join the fray on the palate, which features pure fruit, sandy tannin support and a tide of morello cherry on the way out. Drink by 2033.
