2022 Dandelion Vineyards Pride of the Fleurieu Cabernet Sauvignon

Matured in some new but mostly older French oak barriques for a period of 18 months. Magnificent dense inky black core with a deep dark red black hue. Unfurling from the glass are intense ripe blackcurrant and mulberry aromatics which intermingle with cedary tobacco, earthy black olive and bay leaf notes. Rich blackcurrant and mulberry fruits infused with black olives are framed by a sturdy tannin structure which lends a sense of firmness to the mouth feel. Cedary tobacco, earth and bay leaf characters ensue. Bright youthful acidity with a slightly tense mid length finish.
